iPhone SE 4 leak suggests phone will still have a notch

It seems like the Apple iPhone SE 4 might launch sooner than we expect as more and more leaks continue to flood out.
The most comprehensive leak we’ve seen so far has come from Majin Bu on Twitter, which features someone showing off all the hardware. This includes a single rear camera, a flash and metal sides that look reminiscent of the iPhone 14 series.
When the front of the phone is shown, the selfie camera appears to be left justified, which is reminiscent of the iPhones that have notches instead of the Dynamic Island. In the grand scheme of things, this shouldn’t make a huge difference to potential iPhone SE 4 customers, but it would have been nice to see Apple align its software features across all of its modern models.

It also appears that the iPhone SE 4 in the leak doesn’t have a Camera Control area or an Action Button. That said, it does adopt a USB-C port, and if previous rumours are correct, it will be the first iPhone to use Apple’s in-house modem. It’s also expected that the phone will get 8GB of RAM and a chipset that supports Apple Intelligence.
Beyond the new look, this is expected to be Apple’s most popular iPhone SE yet. Given its modern design and expected entry-level price, it will likely be able to pull more users away from the standard iPhone 15/16 since it will offer the same screen size and battery life for less money.
The previous iPhone SE 3 launched in March 2022, so it wouldn’t be that unexpected to see the new model hit store shelves this spring.
