Saif Ali Khan’s sister Saba Pataudi has slammed those questioning his brother’s quick recovery after the stabbing attack on him at his house. The attack occurred in the early hours on Thursday, January 16, when an intruder entered the actor’s home with the alleged intentions of theft. Saif, attempting to stop him, sustained stab wounds to his thoracic spine.

The National Award-winning actor was discharged six days after the shocking incident. He was seen walking smoothly after undergoing the surgery for his neck and spine injury. This led to people questioning his quick recovery. Slamming such people, Saba shared an Instagram post in which a cardiologist explained how a person can walk properly five days after the surgery.

The Instagram post, shared by The Filmy Official handle, read, “Cardiologist Dr Deepak Krishnamurthy dismissed doubts over Saif Ali Khan’s 5-day recovery after surgeries due to multiple stab wounds. Sharing a video of his 78-year-old mother walking atter a spine surgery, Dr Deepak said, “People who’ve had cardiac bypass surgeries. climb stairs on 3rd/4th day. Educate yourselves.”

Last week, Dr Deepak Krishnamurthy had shared a video on his X account, showing that his mother walked in the evening after her spine surgery. Along with the clip, he wrote, “For people doubting if Saif Ali Khan really had a spine surgery (funnily even some doctors), this is a video of my mother from 2022 at the age of 78 years, walking with a fractured foot in a cast and a spine surgery on the same evening when spine surgery was done. #MedTwitter. A younger fit person can recover even faster. For doctors who are doubting Saif’s recovery, all I want to tell you is to get better exposure.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Saif Ali Khan was last seen in the action drama Devara Part 1 in 2014. He played the antagonist Bhairava pitted against the father-son duo of Devara and Varadha, played by Jr NTR in a double role. The pan-India release earned Rs 290 crore in India and grossed Rs 420 crore worldwide.
