Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma, who began dating in 2023 after Lust Stories 2, have reportedly parted ways on good terms. They have also removed their pictures together from social media but remain friends. Earlier, Tamannaah shared insights on challenges faced by high-achieving women in relationships, subtly referring to herself.
In an old interview with Film Companion, Tamannaah shared that Vijay made her feel comfortable enough to let her guard down. She also highlighted the struggles career-oriented women face in relationships, emphasizing the importance of feeling secure and accepted.

She said, “He is someone with whom I bonded very organically. He is someone who really came to me with all his guard down. Then it became very easy for me to put all my guards down. With high-achieving women, we have this problem ki humko lagta hai har cheez ke liye hardwork karna padta hai. You don’t have to walk on eggshells just to be yourself. He is a person whom I care about deeply and ya he is my happy place.”

Vijay and Tamannaah met on the sets of Lust Stories 2, but their relationship began later. During the wrap-up party, Vijay expressed his interest in spending time with her, and they went on their first date after 25 days. In an interview with Mashable, Vijay admitted he was surprised by the public’s curiosity about their relationship, realizing it attracted more attention than his film releases.
There were ongoing reports about Tamannaah and Vijay considering marriage, with speculation that the actress faced pressure from her parents to settle down. When asked about marriage in an interview with Sahitya Aaj Tak Delhi, Vijay humorously remarked that no girl wanted him to marry and that he couldn’t give a proper answer to anyone, including his mother.
