Tottenham midfielder Olga Ahtinen is closing in on a permanent move to Swedish club Hammarby.

Ahtinen, 27, has made only three starts in the Women’s Super League this season after joining Spurs in 2023.

The Finland international is understood to have travelled to Sweden for a medical with Hammarby earlier this week.

She will be the second player to leave Spurs outside of the January transfer window after goalkeeper Becky Spencer joined Chelsea on an emergency loan last week.

Hammarby currently sit fifth in the Damallsvenskan, the highest division of Swedish women’s football.
